UPDATE: when I went to purchase the cameras for my iPhone, the store already notified me that I had made the purchase, so I automatically got the cameras without having to pay another $4.99ĭefinitely worth it to download this app, especially if you feel alone. It is a one-time fee and NOT a subscription, which is great!! I would have to pay an additional $4.99 to add it to my iPhone. I paid for the premium version on my iPad, hoping it would automatically work for my iPhone as well. I downloaded this app on both of my devices (iPhone and iPad). Some cameras have you looking at a still image and not a live view.ģ. Not all cameras work, and some that are “on” are completely black and have no viewĢ. With that said, there are a couple of drawbacks:ġ. I downloaded this app to see all the pretty views around the world live (since we can’t go anywhere due to Covid). $5 is a steal and adorable, and you can see more cams on their website. In regard to the functionality of this App, I've never had an issue. Temple Bar, while entertaining, I would love to see more. One day soon, we will be able to travel again, so seeing Phoenix would be nice (just for a example.) More cameras in Ireland would be a dream for me, since I probably won't be able to visit there in this lifetime. One wish for the future: more cameras! The sales guys need to hustle up more clients, and try and get people to use them for other than immediate travel. I'm disabled, so while people are discovering this terrific App due to Covid-19, for those of us who have been living in lockdown for years EarthCam is a Godsend.
